Several years ago we had a deck built. Dan gave us a price that was reasonable and told us when the project would start. It began exactly when he said it would. The workers came every day until the job was completed. They were diligent, conscientious and respectful. They did a fabulous job. We use the deck all the time. A few days ago, part of the deck was damaged during a storm because a large beam from our house fell onto it. I called and spoke with Chelsea, who is wonderful. She arranged for Dan to come out to assess the damage right away. I know they will do a great job fixing the deck. If you’re looking to add or remodel a current deck, Precision Decks should be your choice. As someone who has never hired contractors before, I was quite nervous about the whole process. Dan came and gave us a proposal for what we originally wanted. It was much more construction and cost than we had budgeted for, and my husband came up with another design. I sent it to Precision and Chelsea and Dan had a quote within a day. From my initial contact until the end of the construction, I can tell you it was a great experience with this company. Their response time to any questions was basically immediate, and their help and concern with a worried neighbor helped ease my stress immensely. The work crew, headed by Patrick, were friendly and respectful, and did a beautiful job. I also was impressed with the crew who installed the staircase, and Joe, who installed our door. Precision Decks completed this roof deck and pilot house six months ago and I haven't had any problems at all since then. I called Precision Decks for an estimate on 9/11/23, Dan came to take measurements on 9/18/23 and got me the estimate by 9/27/23, Construction began around April 2024 and finished around 6/21/24. Through the entire process it was a pleasure to communicate with Dan and Chelsea. They made sure that I knew what was going on and the crew kept our place extra clean by vacuuming after each day of construction. They even repaired some water damage out of kindness. The only negative surprise was that for the first check I gave them a postdated check that I was told would be deposited after two weeks and instead it was deposited the next day. Not a big deal, but worth noting. Overall, I'm lucky to have been their client and I regret that I have but one roof to remodel.
